Graphite Studio was formed in 2001 by Simon Brims (b. Belfast, N. Ireland 1968)
who graduated with a Degree and Diploma in Architecture from the University of Edinburgh
in 1993 and Donatella Nocco (b. Turin, Italy, 1970) who graduated in Civil Engineering from
the Politecnico di Torino in 1997.Simon Brims is a Chartered Architect (Associate of the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland and member of the Royal Institute of British Architects). After working in a variety of architectural offices in Edinburgh and Turin, they set up the practice, concentrating on quality contemporary design and property development.
